About

FPV Manuals was launched March 2011 to help clarify and simplify the complicated world of FPV.  The site was first created after frustrations trying to find answers to common FPV questions by parsing through hundreds of forum threads across many disparate RC forums.  Forums are a great place to share ideas, post build logs, etc., but they are not a good place to get the answer on how to do something, step-by-step.  Often, a forum thread will contain the answer somewhere in the middle of the thread, but it’s your job to find it.  Threaded forums, while valuable, present information in a transient way.  FPV Manual makes the key answers and manuals available as permanent records that are updated over time as new info becomes available or comments are added with corrections, additions or changes.

FPV Manuals is also developing a select few FPV optimized products such as our popular Pro Tricopter Delrin Kit and our GoPro Lens Protection product LayerLens.

If you have figured out a piece of equipment for FPV, have built a pan and tilt assembly you think works for others, have wiring diagrams that took you hours to create, share them here.  Sign up for a free account and start posting.  We will review posted manuals and will contact you in case something needs to be clarified.  Users of the site can leave comments and make suggestions, which you should incorporate into your manual over time, where it makes sense.

Make sure to read our how to post a manual page to get the scoop on how to add to this site.
